MD - Primary Care - P/T

Recruit Secure is partnering with a well-established, for-profit healthcare organization seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD) who values flexibility, part-time employment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in post-acute care. The goal of this role is to improve patient outcomes, enhance the quality of care, and help reduce avoidable hospital readmissions. This is a part-time, 1099 position (2 days per week (any 2 days)) based at a beautiful, newly built Assisted Living community in Fishkill, NY . The physician will work collaboratively with the facility's nursing team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. There is no on-call or weekend requirements Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care. Diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Collaborate closely with facility nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Provide education and clinical guidance to patients, families, and healthcare staff. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation using the Practice Fusion EMR system. Requirements Board-certified Medical Doctor (MD) in Primary Care (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred). Active New York State medical license. Current DEA registration.
