GSUH offers residency programs in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Podiatric Surgery, and OB/GYN, along with fellowships in Gynecologic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Job Details

Responsibilities / Qualifications The Pediatric Hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include:

• Managing pediatric admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
• Providing care in the newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient units
• Collaborating with pediatric subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in family-centered care and patient education
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives and clinical excellence
• Contributing to teaching and mentoring of residents and medical students

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice medicine in New York State
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (within 3 years)
• BLS and PALS certification required (ACLS preferred), from the American Heart Association (no online-only courses accepted)

Posted Salary Range

USD $190,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.

This salary range serves as a good faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location, and does not include bonuses or additional incentives.
