9Wood fabricates one-of-a-kind architectural wood ceilings. Our ceilings have been installed everywhere from universities, schools, auditoriums and hospitals to funky offices all over North America.

About the role

You will be on the front lines producing our wood ceilings.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Ensure proper sanding and application of coatings to all projects moving through work centers
• Execute priorities based on the production plan, by interfacing with department supervisor and DBR+
• Monitor the quality of the sanding, finishing and staining processes, as well as the overall quality of inbound materials.

Skills and experience needed

• Leadership experience preferred
• Wood manufacturing knowledge preferred
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• The ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• The ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
