Trailer Mechanic

Walton, KY

If you're a trailer mechanic who knows how to keep equipment rolling, we've got a solid shop with steady hours, good pay, and plenty of work.

This is an in-shop position working mostly on dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks . About 90% of the work is trailers . The truck side is limited to basic bolt-on repairs, so you'll spend your day doing what you do best.

What You'll Be Working On

PM services and inspections
Brake, suspension, wheel end, axle, and air system repairs
12V electrical diagnostics and repairs
Light welding and fabrication
Parts replacement and trailer repairs
Installing toolboxes, ramp kits, and other trailer accessories
Prepping sold trailers before they head out the door

What We're Looking For

2+ years of trailer or heavy truck mechanic experience
Trailer repair experience is preferred
Heavy truck experience is welcome
No automotive backgrounds
CDL is a plus, but not required
Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality work

Pay & Schedule

Monday-Friday
9:00 AM-6:00 PM
No weekend schedule
