Trailer Mechanic
Walton, KY
If you're a trailer mechanic who knows how to keep equipment rolling, we've got a solid shop with steady hours, good pay, and plenty of work.
This is an in-shop position working mostly on dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks . About 90% of the work is trailers . The truck side is limited to basic bolt-on repairs, so you'll spend your day doing what you do best.
What You'll Be Working On
- PM services and inspections
- Brake, suspension, wheel end, axle, and air system repairs
- 12V electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Light welding and fabrication
- Parts replacement and trailer repairs
- Installing toolboxes, ramp kits, and other trailer accessories
- Prepping sold trailers before they head out the door
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of trailer or heavy truck mechanic experience
- Trailer repair experience is preferred
- Heavy truck experience is welcome
- No automotive backgrounds
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in quality work
Pay & Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
- No weekend schedule
