Floor Nurse

At Gulfside Health & Rehab, Floor Nurse plays a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents. Located in Clearwater, Florida, our 76-bed skilled nursing facility offers a warm, home-like setting where our residents can heal, recover, and live their best lives.

Job Summary:

As a Floor Nurse , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents on a daily basis. There is part time or full time opportunities, with a competitive hourly rate of $26 - $39 hourly . Our benefits package includes dental, vision, and health insurance, life insurance, 401 K Retirement plan, Paid Time Off, and Sick Time.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents on a daily basis, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments

• Develop and implement individualized care plans with input from the interdisciplinary team

• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including falls, infections, and other potential concerns

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and departments

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including medical charts, medication records, and other relevant documentation

• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, with a focus on comfort, dignity, and respect for each resident

Requirements:

• LPN or RN licensure in the state of Florida

• New grads welcome to apply!

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents, with or without assists

• Basic knowledge of electronic medical records and other relevant software systems
