Schedule, Department, Location 7pm-7am Night Shift, Full‑Time, 36 hours Department: PICU Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC Job Overview The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system. The RN collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The RN utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey, accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures. Responsibilities Lead the patient care team by fostering teamwork, engagement, and community involvement. Ensure a safe patient environment guided by the principle of "First Do No Harm". Deliver an exceptional patient experience in every dimension, every time. Qualifications 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing school required. One year relevant experience preferred. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state required. If an RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and the candidate has not been licensed in another state during the last five years, a board‑approved refresher course must be completed prior to reinstating the license.
