Title: System Engineer
Location: Hazelwood, MO (Onsite)




Job Summary

• 7+ years of experience in System / Software Engineering with strong product development and SDLC knowledge.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, software development, DevOps, and infrastructure automation .
• Experience developing solutions using C#, Python, REST APIs, ORM, and PostgreSQL .
• Strong background in requirements management, traceability, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation .
• Comfortable working onsite in Hazelwood, MO and coordinating with offshore engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and support cloud-based software products across the SDLC.
• Develop and maintain applications using C#, Python, REST APIs, ORM, PostgreSQL, and ETL processes .
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi .
• Support Docker, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines .
• Lead design reviews, issue resolution, technical decisions, and cross-functional coordination .

AWS & Cloud Technologies

• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, and EC2 .
• Experience with IAM, SSM, and CloudWatch for security, system management, and monitoring.
• Experience developing and deploying AWS-based production applications .
• Understanding of cloud architecture, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting .

Software & DevOps

• Strong programming experience with C# and Python .
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and ORM-based applications .
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD .
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Windows Shell is a plus.

Database & Data

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL in software/product development environments.
• Understanding of data structures, data processing, and ETL workflows .
• Experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting database-driven applications .
• Ability to work with development teams on data integration and database requirements .

Requirements & Compliance

• Experience developing System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Product Requirements Documents (PRD) .
• Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) throughout product development.
• Ensure requirements are properly documented, tracked, and traceable through the SDLC.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements , preferably in regulated industries.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with HW, SW, and Systems R&D teams on product development.
• Collaborate with QA and Regulatory Affairs on quality and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Clinical, and Marketing teams .
• Drive technical discussions, design reviews, issue resolution, and decision-making .

Onsite Coordinator Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite interface between the customer and offshore delivery teams.
• Coordinate technical activities, requirements, priorities, and project deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between customer stakeholders and offshore engineering teams .
• Track and drive issues, actions, escalations, and technical decisions .
• Support onsite meetings, design reviews, and customer discussions.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of System / Software Engineering experience.
• Strong AWS, C#/Python, REST APIs, ORM, and PostgreSQL experience.
• Strong Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with SDLC, SyRS, PRD, RTM, requirements traceability, and compliance .
• Strong communication and coordination skills with willingness to work onsite in Hazelwood, MO .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries , especially medical devices .
• Experience with AWS cloud-based product development .
• Experience working with HW/SW/Systems R&D, QA, and Regulatory Affairs .
• Experience coordinating onsite and offshore teams .
• Experience with FDA/medical-device development processes .
