Quality Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team in Alpharetta, GA. This position is responsible for supporting product quality, engineering initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and improve product quality throughout the design and manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production teams.
• Participate in product design reviews and recommend quality improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality assurance, and operations to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain and develop technical documentation and product support materials.
• Review customer specifications and ensure products meet quality and performance requirements.
• Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Support production teams in resolving manufacturing quality concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with refrigerated products, industrial manufacturing, or product development.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics or mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality management systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and computer work.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
