Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Job Description: Join a dynamic and esteemed team as an Operating Room Surgical Technologist. You will be integral in the efficient operation of surgical services by providing skilled support in a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical operations by preparing and maintaining sterile field.
• Support surgical teams during procedures, including instrument selection and management.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures.
• Broad surgical knowledge and experience in various service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
• Certifications in relevant surgical technology preferred.
