PRN Sonographer

Role Overview Seeking a Registered Sonographer for a PRN position to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging on adult and pediatric patients, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, independently conducting imaging procedures, documenting results, and supporting needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages. The role involves covering multiple locations as needed, with day shift hours. Qualifications & Skills Certification as RDMS or equivalent required; RDCS preferred. Educational requirement: Associate or Trade School equivalent. Experience: No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred. Licenses: CPR, and relevant ultrasound certifications. Skills: Ability to operate ultrasound equipment, perform studies independently, and document procedures accurately. Key Duties Maintain equipment functionality and readiness. Perform ultrasound procedures with proper documentation. Conduct studies independently, including portable exams and on-call duties.
