Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Neurosurgery

Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans Perform surgical procedures related to neurosurgery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care Maintain detailed and accurate patient records Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care plans Stay updated with the latest advancements in neurosurgery Participate in peer reviews and continuous medical education Adhere to all hospital protocols and regulations Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Associate-level experience in neurosurgery Board certification in Neurosurgery is preferred Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Current medical licensure to practice in Nebraska Additional Details Level I Trauma Schedule: 24-hour primary or backup call (7a-7a), specific dates Patient Volume: 10 ICU patients, 7 admissions Duties: Trauma call, new consults, and hospital rounding Required Procedures: Back and spine trauma Support Staff: APPs and additional surgeons EMR: Epic and Tiger Connect Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
