Requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising PT in an outpatient setting
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional rehabilitation activities
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT in a timely manner
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management techniques
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
• Maintain compliance with facility standards and state licensure requirements

Requirements

• Active PTA license in GA required to start the assignment
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• BLS/CPR certification
• Prior outpatient experience preferred
