Epidemiologist Data Scientist

Leading quantitative analysis and modeling of real-world health data, the full-time Epidemiologist Data Scientist will generate actionable insights for federal public health, design machine learning models, and collaborate with public health experts in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Conduct quantitative analysis and modeling of health data to estimate chronic disease prevalence and incidence Design and implement machine learning and statistical models for surveillance and research purposes Develop and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for large-scale health datasets using R, Python, and SQL Required qualifications Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related field Material experience in health data science and epidemiology, particularly with real-world data analysis Strong proficiency in R, Python, and SQL, including manipulation of large datasets Deep experience in biostatistics and conducting epidemiological analyses Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization
