PURPOSE OF YOUR POSITION:

The successful candidate must be able to perform the day-to-day activities of the Food Services Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards to ensure our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. Ideally you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be very detail oriented and work well under pressure.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Must be 16 years old or older
• $18.50 per hour
• Union mandated position (pension program, yearly uniform allowance, must pay weekly union dues and initiation fees, seniority rules)
• Partial benefits start at 16 hours per week, full benefits start at 24 hours per week
• Work independently and as a team player.
• Communicate well.
• Deal tactfully with residents, family members, staff and government personnel.
• May be required to stand for long periods of time.
• May have to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed by the department.
