What You’ll Do As a Deli Shift Leader , you’ll help oversee daily deli operations while ensuring food quality, safety, and an outstanding customer experience: Provide friendly , fast , and attentive customer service Prepare food according to Freshies® recipes and standards Follow all food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe guidelines Receive deliveries and verify product quality and freshness Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and temperature logs Track spoilage, waste, and daily production Keep the deli clean, organized, and visually appealing Support and guide team members during shifts Assist with scheduling priorities and shift execution Monitor inventory and help order food and supplies Ensure compliance with all company policies and health regulations Maintain a safe and positive work environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in food service, deli, or customer service preferred Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic math and computer skills Reliable attendance and flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) Training & Certifications ServSafe Food Handler or Food Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain) On-the-job training provided Why Join Freshies?
