Welder (MIG/TIG)
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Pay: $22.00/hr Shift: 2nd
Overview Seeking a skilled welder with MIG and TIG experience to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment
- Produce high-quality welds to meet specifications
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements
- MIG and TIG welding experience required
- Welding certification preferred (accredited program)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Stand for full shift; lift up to 40 lbs
- Frequent bending, twisting, and stooping
- Must wear required PPE (helmet, hearing protection, safety shoes)
Work Environment
- Team-oriented setting focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
