We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our gift shop and antique retail store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, visual merchandising, customer service, inventory control, and team leadership. Experience working with unique merchandise, antiques, collectibles, home décor, gifts, or specialty retail products is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all day-to-day store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

- Lead, train, coach, and motivate store associates to achieve sales and service goals.

- Manage scheduling, staffing, performance evaluations, and employee development.

- Create attractive product displays and maintain high visual merchandising standards throughout the store.

- Receive, price, tag, and merchandise new inventory.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking efforts.

- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

- Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.

- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.

- Open and close the store, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records.

- Assist with purchasing decisions and product selection when needed.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of retail management experience required.

- Experience in gift shops, antique stores, home décor, specialty retail, consignment, or boutique retail preferred.

- Strong merchandising and product presentation skills.

- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Preferred Experience

- Antique, vintage, collectible, or resale merchandise knowledge.

- Visual merchandising and display design experience.

- Inventory management and purchasing experience.

- Retail sales analysis and performance tracking.
