Position Summary TRANSPLANT HEPATOLOGY and GASTROENTEROLOGY at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix (BUMC-P). Join our Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Group. We are recruiting a BC/BE Hepatologist to join our academic faculty team at the assistant or associate level. The role provides transplant care to patients with end‑stage liver disease, focusing on all phases of pre and post‑transplant care in addition to managing a busy Advanced Liver Disease practice. The Hepatologist works with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and is directly involved in selection committee review, quality assurance initiatives, education, and research. Academic and Clinical Opportunities Opportunity to be involved in the education and training of internal medicine, GI residents, fellows, and medical students within an academic setting. Teach and mentor trainees, prepare and present at departmental and divisional meetings, participate in GI/Hepatology clinical research and present at national meetings, and pursue clinical research training through a Masters in Clinical Research pathway.
