Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an OR Lead/Charge position at a Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of charge/lead experience and active CA RN and supervisor credentials.

Details

• Operating Room (OR) setting within a Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, with rotating start times between 0500 and 1700
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of charge or lead nursing experience required
• Supervisor experience required
• Trauma Center experience preferred
• Clean, unrestricted nursing license required — candidates with a prior license hit will not be considered
• Two supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
• Skills checklist for OR specialty completed within the past year required for consideration
• DOB, middle name, and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Lead/charge RN responsibilities within a busy Trauma Center OR environment
• Candidates must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months to be eligible
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days for the duration of the contract
