Outpatient Adult Bariatric Dietitian

Job Summary This position provides medical nutrition therapy to patients and their families, along with consultation to the interdisciplinary care team. Service is delivered according to standards of practice, policies and procedures, and includes nutritional assessment, diet calculation, coordination of nutritional services with the patient care team, patient food services, and community agencies. The role participates in multidisciplinary team and department committees, projects, and may engage in promotional or community activities for the medical center. The Clinical Dietitian uses the Scope of Dietetics Practice Framework to determine scope of practice and applies evidence-based practice protocols to develop and implement nutritional interventions.
