Service Technician – Mesa, AZ The Service Technician plays a key role in preparing our apartment homes for rent, maintaining building and grounds, and ensuring resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include daily inspections, maintenance tasks, and collaboration with the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure apartment homes are market ready and walk daily. Participate in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds, complete resident work orders, and prepare units for rent. Perform maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, electrical, HVAC, and pool maintenance (e.g., skimmer emptying, chemical testing). Conduct light electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, door locks, re-keying, and P.O. boxes. Follow the service process through completion, inspecting work for conformance to specifications and standards. Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Assist in distributing company or community-issued notices (e.g., bad weather, emergency). Walk market-ready units daily and communicate needed supplies or assistance. Ensure safe practices are followed, uphold community policies, and maintain professionalism. Support a harmonious team environment. Maintain accurate records for preventive maintenance, work orders, and other required documentation. Work nights, weekends, and rotate being on call with flexibility. Perform other duties assigned as needed. Demonstrate strong communication, influencing, and time management skills. Enjoy being part of a team and have previous maintenance experience (preferred). Have availability and flexibility to work weekends and be on-call. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Licenses & Certifications HVAC Certification (preferred).
