Elementary Site Coordinator- View Park

Arc Experience is seeking a dedicated Site Coordinator to support our before- and after-school programs across Southern California , including Los Angeles , San Diego , and the Imperial Valley . Responsibilities Plan, organize, and oversee daily after‑school programs and activities that align with the organization’s mission and for the needs of students. Ensure programs are engaging, age‑appropriate, and promote academic, social, and emotional development. Recruit, train, and manage after‑school program staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for school administration, fostering strong relationships and partnerships between school and after‑school staff. Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Provide ongoing professional development and training to enhance staff effectiveness. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all staff and students. Address student behavior issues positively and constructively, following organizational guidelines. Monitor student attendance and engagement, addressing concerns with parents and school staff as needed. Collaborate with district staff to support program goals and ensure alignment with school and community needs. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share updates on student progress and program activities. Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including licensing and safety requirements. Develop and manage the program’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. Oversee program setup, including materials, space, and equipment. Coordinate transportation and meals/snacks for students as needed. Act as the primary point of contact for the after‑school program, representing the organization positively to all stakeholders. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in after‑school programming operations and administrative skills. 1+ year of experience managing a team. Strong communication skills – comfortable speaking to kids, parents, school administrators, and teachers. Problem‑solving ability, teamwork, and active listening. Ability to supervise and support staff without constant direction. Capable of collaborating with staff at all levels. Professional attitude, commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. Proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and resolve conflicts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and common operating systems. College transcripts showing 48+ credit units completed or completion of an academic proficiency exam. TB test (negative) and Live Scan background check required. CPR and first aid training required, or proof of certification within the past 12 months. English speaker; Spanish bilingual preferred. Must be fully Covid‑19 vaccinated if required by the school.
