Medical Coder

Amberwell Health Hiawatha in Hiawatha, KS seeks a skilled medical coder to join the Health Information Management team on a PRN basis. The coder will review charges and code Amberwell accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, following safety practices and Amberwell procedures. Responsibilities include chart review, identifying missing charges, abstracting records, and assigning DRGs for inpatient and CPT for
