Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 2x12-hour shifts (Every Saturday and Sunday) from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing complex imaging procedures and working independently when necessary. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing advanced CT technology in a busy, trauma-certified hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on various regions of the body, including abdomen, brain, chest, and more, with and without contrast.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Administer contrast materials and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and contribute to multidisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Utilize specialty imaging equipment including GE 64 VCT/Lightspeed, GE 128 Revolution, and Med Rad Injector.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is preferred.
