Part-time HR role in Naples, FL supporting The First Tee Naples/Collier with day-to-day people operations and leadership-level administrative coverage. This onsite position offers pay from $28.00 per hour and typically supports 8.0 to 15.0 hours per week , with a clear focus on discretion, compliance, and a professional office experience. Reporting to the CEO , this Human Resources Professional helps manage the general HR function, oversees HR procedures and policies, and provides administrative support to the Executive Director. The role also supports workforce management, talent acquisition, and employee relations aligned with organizational goals and compliance. Responsibilities Develop and implement long-term and short-term Human Resources strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead key HR functions including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, and development of HR policies and programs. Ensure HR initiatives support the organization’s culture and objectives, including performance management and employee engagement with high emotional intelligence. Maintain strict discretion regarding sensitive or private data. Collaborate with other executives on strategic decisions impacting HR performance. Build and lead a high-performing HR team across HR and other departments, including mentoring and fostering professional development. Recruit and hire new staff, support onboarding, and maintain organized HR files. Monitor staffing effectiveness by tracking turnover, overtime, and absenteeism. Ensure employee performance appraisals are completed thoroughly and submitted on time. Apply human resources policies to implement progressive discipline when necessary. Develop performance goals and objectives with staff members to support productivity, proficiency, and professional growth. Use organizational financial resources appropriately within the established budget. Support organizational administration, correspondence, and event, meeting, and fundraiser organization and attendance as assigned. Oversee general cleanliness and office presentation, including efficient use of the office space. Support the Volunteer Coordinator with uniform procurement and distribution and help answer general volunteer questions. Provide administrative support for the Executive Director, including tracking projects and proofreading and formatting documents for printing and distribution. Maintain respectful, professional relationships with staff, volunteers, and public-facing stakeholders, representing the organization in a courteous manner. Requirements Minimum 2 years of progressive HR experience (non-profit operation or similar environment: 2–5 years preferred). Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM) may be preferred. Proven leadership and strategic planning experience in HR roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and team management. Ability to analyze data and HR metrics to inform decisions and drive performance. Demonstrated mentoring, coaching, and organizational administrative skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong computer aptitude, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word , plus relevant software. Comfort using databases and navigating websites and online media. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks. Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle .
