This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical responsibilities in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient recovery, providing health education, and supporting therapy and treatment that promote patient well-being. Job Details Position Category: Peaks-Clinical-Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: ASN from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the practice state, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience including skills in therapy and treatment planning, health teaching, nursing care, health assessment, and health counseling. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification appropriate for the unit or service. Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need. May also be placed on-call during shifts.
