Role Description The Banking Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Clarita, CA. This role oversees day-to-day branch and back-office operations, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, adherence to banking regulations, and timely resolution of operational issues. The manager coordinates workflows, monitors operational metrics, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, risk management, and client service. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching operations staff, supporting audit and compliance activities, and collaborating with branch leadership to meet service, quality, and performance goals. The Banking Operations Manager also partners with technology and compliance teams to support new systems, operational controls, and policy updates. Qualifications Experience in banking operations, including transaction processing, account maintenance, and branch or back-office workflow management. Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience in supervising teams, providing coaching, and supporting performance development. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to banking, such as BSA/AML, KYC, and internal control frameworks. Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational risks, interpret data, and implement process improvements. Proficiency with banking systems and common office tools, with the ability to learn new technologies and support operational changes. Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in financial services operations.
