Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Summary:
Providing comprehensive outpatient nursing care in a busy ambulatory clinic setting, the Outpatient RN (Pulm/Allergy) will manage patient assessments, treatments, and education to ensure optimal health outcomes. The role involves collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality outpatient services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient health statuses, focusing on pulmonology and allergy concerns.
• Administer treatments, medications, and procedures in accordance with provider orders.
• Educate patients on managing chronic conditions and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Epic electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety procedures, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent outpatient nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of pulmonology and allergy patient care preferred.
• Proficient in Epic electronic health record documentation.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Ability to float within scope and adapt to changing patient needs.
