Director, Global Forecasting COE Standards & Training

Director leading AbbVie's Global Forecasting Center of Excellence, responsible for defining forecasting standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization. The role oversees training curriculum development, capability building, change management, and strategic guidance for enterprise forecasters across US, International, and Allergan Aesthetics divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee AbbVie's global forecasting standards, frameworks, and best practices across all business units
  • Lead team in developing, documenting, and maintaining forecasting standards and methodologies
  • Design and deploy forecasting training curriculum including onboarding, methodology modules, and data literacy programs
  • Execute change management and adoption programs for new standards, tools, and processes with cross-functional alignment
  • Manage forecaster engagement strategy, cultivation of champion networks, and communication forums across enterprise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related); advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry experience in quantitative or analytical roles
  • 10+ years of direct leadership and team management experience
  • Deep expertise in forecasting methodology, statistical analysis, and business analytics
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs and change management initiatives
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA TRx, NBRx, MIDAS, epidemiology data)
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder engagement skills
