Business Manager - Marketing & Messaging, Capital One Business Travel

Job Overview The Capital One Business Travel (COBT) booking travel platform for Small/Medium Enterprises is part of the Premium Products and Experiences (PPX) team and is one of the fastest‑growing parts of the business. We are looking for a Marketing Senior Analyst to join our Strategy and Growth team to build and deliver a performance‑driven marketing strategy for COBT. Key Responsibilities Partner with the insights team to deeply understand the target audience, validate product positioning and messaging, and act as the voice of both the customer and Capital One Business Travel within the organization. Build an end‑to‑end view of COBT’s go‑to‑market strategy in partnership with COBT marketing, including customer journeys, segmentation, channel strategy, positioning, and key messaging. Support analytics that assess ROI of different channels and develop perspective on COBT’s GTM strategy across channels. Lead triggered messaging campaigns and holistic strategy across different customer journeys and segments. Partner closely with COBT marketing teams to refine positioning and customer‑facing claims. Support COBT marketing partners in execution and performance analysis of specific campaigns. Serve as the lead point of contact for Card, Field, and Marketing teams to champion marketing goals and increase product usage. Understand competitor evolutions and build strategies that position us for success in the market. Partner with the Sponsorships team to develop and execute a high‑impact conference and industry event strategy. Lead a small team of 1‑2 analysts responsible for functional analysis and marketing execution. Requirements for Success High level of initiative and ownership, with ability to coordinate efforts across diverse functional groups. Ability to self‑direct and switch between strategic and tactical initiatives. Succinct, focused written and verbal communication skills. Marketing analytics practitioner and problem solver, using data and storytelling to influence decisions and deliver actionable recommendations. Data‑driven decision‑making with strong SQL skills and curiosity to understand the “why” behind the data. Collaboration and influence skills to partner with a wide variety of teams across the organization. Results‑oriented focus on driving impact in both the short and long term, capable of delivering an agenda end‑to‑end in an uncertain and fluid environment.
