Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM. No weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a pre-surgery setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding pre-surgical procedures and expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical specialty.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification is mandatory.
• Consideration will be given to Medical-Surgical RNs with strong IV skills.

Holiday Expectations

Must be available to work 2 major holidays from the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
