We are currently seeking applications for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist to become part of our Central Interstate team in Portland, OR. You will collaborate with a compassionate and integrated team of physicians, along with supportive clinical and administrative staff, to provide both Pediatric and Comprehensive Ophthalmology services. Our Ophthalmologists work within a truly comprehensive practice, benefiting from a connected healthcare model that enhances efficiency. You will encounter a substantial surgical volume, addressing a wide array of ophthalmologic conditions. The extent of subspecialty work will depend on patient and team needs. In this role, you will primarily serve as the Pediatric Ophthalmologist, with most of your patients being children, alongside some adult strabismus cases and general comprehensive call rotations. You will have a dedicated half-day surgery block on Tuesday mornings and will round weekly for Retinopathy of Prematurity at the Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center NICU.

Utilizing the latest technology, you will manage a higher acuity of disease while conducting routine exams, including all refractions, and will lead Pediatric patients referred by our Optometry partners.

What You Can Anticipate:

• A shared call schedule among all providers, with general ophthalmology call averaging 4-6 weekdays and 4-5 weekends throughout the year.

• Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

• Flexible scheduling options of 1.00 and 0.9 FTE (with prorated compensation).

Essential Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology.

• Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology.

Current Hiring Incentives for This Position:

• Relocation assistance of up to $15,000.

• The annual salary for this role ranges from $411,900 to $502,300, taking into account the applicant's skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
