Physical Therapist – Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week. Location: Kodiak Island, Alaska. Responsibilities The Physical Therapist plans and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. Helps patients/residents reach maximum performance levels by utilizing various mechanical and electrical equipment, and prosthetic and orthotic devices. Evaluates, records, and reports patient progress. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy. Upon hire: Alaska Physical Therapist License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree or Ph.D. 1 year of experience. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
