The Breakwater Program is a long-term treatment program for adolescent males referred by the Department of Children and Families. As a therapeutic community, we use trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, family support, and recovery-based approaches to substance abuse treatment. Our goal is to help youth build pro-social skills, support their recovery, and work toward a stable, productive future.
