Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist, working in-person across two welcoming K-8 sites near Orland Park, IL. This contract opportunity allows you to champion student success by providing essential academic and social-emotional support while collaborating with dedicated education professionals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
• Valid Illinois licensure: Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
• Minimum of 2 years of school-based experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, support, and provide intervention for students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Collaborate on teams such as SPED, 504, and MTSS to ensure timely and compliant evaluation and service delivery
• Consult with staff on MTSS systems, guide Tier 3 intervention strategies, and progress monitoring
• Prepare and present reports for eligibility, annual, and progress meetings within compliance timelines
• Serve as an expert liaison on child development and learning disorders, maintaining clear, consistent communication with families and educators
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of direct service, collaboration, and progress
• Stay current with evidence-based practices, share resources, and deliver professional development when needed
• Model strong knowledge and compliance with all relevant regulations

Position Details:

• Caseload of approximately 60 students across two locations
• In-person, 37.5 hours per week
• Work within supportive school communities along with a knowledgeable behavioral and mental health team
