Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

$18.25 per hour

Shift:

1st Shift, overtime hours as required by production schedules

What’s a typical day as an Assembly Worker? You’ll be:

• Assembling metal components by fastening parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, and related hardware with hand, pneumatic, and power tools
• Positioning and aligning parts accurately according to assembly blueprints, diagrams, technical layouts, or verbal instructions
• Removing small amounts of metal as necessary to achieve precise fits between components
• Operating and tending machines for force-fitting, pressing, or specialized fastening operations
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with plant safety standards
• Assisting with peer training, onboarding new team members, and performing additional shop-floor duties as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 0–2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical environment (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are welcome)
• Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Are able to read and interpret basic assembly blueprints, job travelers, build sheets, and diagrams (or are eager to learn)
• Possess hands-on proficiency with basic hand tools, pneumatic/air tools, and power drivers
• Can work at a steady, rapid pace under production time constraints while following established build procedures
• Meet the physical demands: standing and walking for long periods, frequent lifting of 21–50 lbs (occasionally up to 51–70 lbs), and consistent manual dexterity
• Are dependable, have reliable transportation to Johnson Creek, and are able to work overtime as required
