About the Role

As a Dietary Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dietary department, including food preparation, planning, and service. You will work closely with the care team to develop and implement individualized meal plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise will ensure that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that promote their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Manage the dietary department, including supervising dietitians, cooks, and other support staff

• Develop and implement individualized meal plans to meet the nutritional needs of our residents

• Conduct menu planning, food purchasing, and inventory management to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA and JCAHO

• Collaborate with the care team to ensure that meal plans align with each resident's individualized care plan

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and caregivers

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including meal plans, menus, and inventory management

Job Requirements

• H igh school diploma, or equivalent

• Supervisor experience in nursing home

• Dietary Manager certication (CDM)

• Ability to stand for extended periods
