Housekeeping Supervisor

Description

The Hilton Charlotte University Place is hiring a Bilingual Housekeeping Supervisor. The hotel housekeeping supervisor manages cleaning staff, inspects guest rooms, and handles supply inventories to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual. (English-Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Create shift schedules, assign daily cleaning tasks, and train new team members.
• Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to meet hotel safety and hygiene rules.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and order cleaning supplies, chemicals, and linens.
• Department Communication: Report maintenance issues and update room statuses with the front desk.
• Guest Services: Resolve guest complaints and fulfill special requests promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of housekeeping or hospitality experience, with prior supervisory work preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Physical Ability: Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs during shifts.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
