SAP Security Consultant

Responsibilities Project Lifecycle: Support all project phases, including requirement gathering workshops, testing, cutover and post-go-live support. Coordinate with functional teams and Basis teams during cutover activities and upgrades. Role Design & Management: Design, create, modify, and maintain complex, secure and optimized SAP roles, including Master, Derived and Composite roles for business and IT. Authorization Management: Update authorizations via SU24 to manage authorization objects, minimizing security risks. S/4HANA & Fiori Security: Secure HANA databases, manage OData services, and configure user access. Implement security controls for SAP Fiori apps, including catalogs, groups, tiles, and catalogs/spaces. Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with SOX and internal audit standards by conducting user access reviews and maintaining documentation. Support & Operations: User and role administration, managing user life cycle processes and troubleshooting authorization. Documentation: Maintain updated security procedures, user manuals, SOPs, work instructions, role matrix, reports, etc. Qualifications Experience : 5+ years of experience in SAP Security, with specific experience in HANA database security, implementation, roll-out, upgrades and support. Ability to work independently and guide business stakeholders on security best practices. Tools : Proficient in HANA Studio, HANA Web IDE, and SAP Fiori Launchpad; CSI Tool for SOD report extractions. Compliance: Strong understanding of SAP SOD (Segregation of Duties), risk analysis, critical access, SOX and internal and external audits standards and recommendations. HANA Expertise : Proficient in HANA DB privileges (System, Package, Schema, Analytic), SQL privileges, and runtime/repository roles. Change Management : Manage SAP Security transport through the system landscape, ensuring compliance with Change Management guidelines and SOD policies.
