Senior Accountant (General Ledger) | Charlotte, NC

Are you a strong accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process, solving complex accounting issues, and partnering across the business? We are partnering with a growing global manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team in Charlotte, NC. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, consolidations, compliance, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

• Lead month-end close activities and prepare financial statements for multiple entities
• Prepare and support consolidated financial reporting
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Manage accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and intercompany transactions
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards
• Support external audits, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to management
• Partner with Accounts Payable and operational teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment
• Assist with process improvements and accounting automation initiatives
• Conduct accounting research and support implementation of new accounting standards

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
• Experience working within an ERP system environment
• Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS exposure is a plus
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
