Software Development Engineer in Test, Sports Platform

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex systems, particularly microservices and publish-subscribe architectures.
• We value experience using AI to automate testing effectively and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sharp attention to detail are important.
• We need experience with programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Golang.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery is required.
• Familiarity with infrastructure and environment management tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is needed.
• We look for experience mentoring and supporting junior team members in testing approaches and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or equivalent is preferred.

• We design, build, and maintain end-to-end and integration automated test suites for complex systems, with a focus on microservices and publish-subscribe architectures.
• We work closely with software development and Operations Engineering to strengthen and maintain a reliable test infrastructure that supports efficient software delivery.
• We identify manual test cases suitable for automation to streamline the testing process.
• We engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and automated test cases.
• We report on test suite performance and ensure testing is integrated into pipelines for clear visibility into status and metrics.
• We apply testing pyramid best practices to ensure thorough coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• We coordinate and prioritise testing needs across multiple teams and stakeholders to align effort and resources.
• We participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability.
