About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) School-Based for a 42-week contract opportunity in Federal Way, Washington. The Occupational Therapist will provide therapy services to students while supporting functional independence, fine motor development, sensory-motor skills, classroom participation, and individualized educational goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' functional abilities, fine motor skills, sensory needs, and participation in school-related activities.

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, self-care, sensory processing, and functional independence.

• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and interdisciplinary school teams regarding student progress and accommodations.

• Maintain accurate therapy documentation, progress reports, and educational records while monitoring student outcomes.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications Required.

• Strong Student Assessment, Treatment Planning, and Pediatric Occupational Therapy Skills Required.

• Experience With Fine Motor Development, Sensory-Motor Interventions, and Activities of Daily Living Preferred.

• School-Based or Pediatric Occupational Therapy Experience Preferred.

• Strong Documentation, Communication, Student Management, and Interdisciplinary Collaboration Skills Required.

The Occupational Therapist will provide student-centered therapy services while supporting functional development, classroom participation, independence, and educational success.
