Building Maintenance

Overview The Building Maintenance team members play a key role in ensuring Brighton Resort’s property, buildings, and grounds are clean, safe, and welcoming for both guests and employees. This position involves janitorial duties and occasional snow removal responsibilities to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment throughout the resort. Perks & Benefits FREE All-Access Brighton Ski Pass FREE UTA Ski Bus access Discounted Brighton lift tickets for friends & family Access to discounted lift tickets at multiple ski areas Employee discounts at all Brighton outlets and all Boyne Resorts Pro deals through ExpertVoice, Liberty Mountain, and Outdoor Prolink Responsibilities Perform daily janitorial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and common areas Empty trash and recycling bins; move waste to designated disposal areas Clean all surfaces, including windows, doors, counters, floors, and walls, ensuring a high standard of appearance Apply ice-melt to walkways, stairs, and other high-traffic areas Assist with seasonal property upkeep and special cleaning projects Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or repairs needed to the Facilities Manager Operate alone or with small groups to accomplish tasks and duties Follow safety protocols and resort policies while working both indoors and outdoors Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, or snow removal experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks Comfortable working in cold, snowy, and icy outdoor conditions, as well as indoors Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks in varying conditions Must be available to work a minimum of three days per week. Those who can work full-time will get stronger consideration during hiring Work Environment This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in winter weather conditions.
