Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, from abdominal and OB/GYN to vascular and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all diagnostic procedures, explaining each phase with kindness and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to achieve high-quality imaging results
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging devices and report any technical issues immediately
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound applications and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or an allied discipline
• Preference for applicants who have graduated from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent accreditation
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
