Job Opportunity – Interventional (Neuro) Radiology Technologist – Alabama

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Alabama

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Call coverage approximately 9-11 days per month, including neuro lab coverage one week every four weeks and backup call 2-4 additional days per month. Must be able to report within 30 minutes of notification.

Highlights:

• Support vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular procedures in a dynamic environment
• Work with both single-plane and biplane equipment in interventional radiology, OR, and neuro-interventional suites
• Perform a variety of cases including adult diagnostic angiography, minimally invasive guidewire and catheter-based procedures, and percutaneous biopsies
• Function as scrub, monitor, and fluoroscopy technologist providing comprehensive procedural support
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment
• New travelers welcome; highly experienced candidates encouraged to apply

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program recognized by the American Medical Association Council on Education, or credentialed through Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Experience with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, and neuro-endovascular cases required
• ARRT (VI) certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Active Alabama radiologic technology license required at time of submission
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Pre-start modules required prior to assignment
