Spa Attendant

$18 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Greet and assist guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  2. Provide information on Spa services, treatment, and amenities.
  3. Escort guests through treatment rooms and guide them through the spa facilities.
  4. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  5. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all spa areas including treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, and pools.
  6. Regularly monitor and replenish towels, lines, and spa products.
  7. Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the Spa Manager and Maintenance.
  8. Assist in the ordering and stocking of spa products, ensuring adequate supplies are always available.
  9. Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages to the Spa Manager.
  10. Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures. Includes proper sanitation of spa areas and equipment.
  11. Ensure that all guests are aware of and follow spa policies and procedures.
  12. Work closely with the spa team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
  13. Assist other spa staff as needed to ensure efficient service delivery.
  14. Uphold 4-star standards by delivering excellent customer service. Maintains positive relations with all guests and employees. Goes above and beyond to make each guest feel welcomed and special.
  15. Attendance: Reports to work on time, as scheduled, and ready to work.
  16. Performs special projects as needed or requested.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience working in customer service, preferably in a spa and luxury hospitality environment. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.


EDUCUTION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Preferred one (1) or more years of experience working in a spa or luxury hospitality environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


REASONING ABILITY: Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None are required.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of spa services and treatments. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion such as frequent brisk walking, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for a majority of the work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties may require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move spa, salon, or general office supplies and equipment.


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Essential duties involve working in a spa and salon environment. Essential duties involve a flexible work week with additional hours occasionally required.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Includes use of general office supplies and equipment including computers, printers, calculators, pencils, etc.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$18.00+ hour based on experience
