Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional nurse to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive interventional radiology (IR) procedures across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their safety, and coordinating care effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, providing necessary education and performing safety checks.
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation in compliance with established organizational policies and clinical protocols.
• Collect, label, document, and ensure the proper handling and transport of specimens according to relevant policies and laboratory requirements.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care, monitoring patients for complications and ensuring they meet discharge criteria.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, schedulers, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance workflow and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure the readiness of medications, supplies, and emergency equipment, adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid nursing license.
• ACLS certification is required.
