Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital imaging team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Aventura, FL. You will accurately interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and expertly operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images that support patient care. The unit uses GE imaging systems and documents in Meditech.

Minimum Requirements

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred.
• Experience using Meditech EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• RT (T), ASRT or FASRT credentials.
• Experience performing CT scans, body imaging, MRI basics, X-rays, and fluoroscopy support.
• Strong communication, medical/anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 2000–0630.
• Shift Days: Nights.
• Department uses all GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR.
• Typical patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on patient stability.
• Night team staffing typically includes a charge RN, on-call team, and 3–4 technologists depending on volume.
