Account Executive - Software Sales

Our client is hiring three Mid-Market Account Executives to sell software that helps organizations strengthen security and protect business assets. Two openings cover Pacific or Mountain time zones, and one covers Eastern or Central. Enterprise-level candidates in Eastern or Central time zones may also be considered. Build your territory with support from technical specialists, marketing, and channel partners, plus uncapped commissions. Responsibilities Engage CISOs, CIOs, IT leaders, and business decision-makers to understand security needs and purchasing priorities. Manage opportunities from discovery and qualification through technical evaluation, negotiation, procurement, and close. Win new customers through outbound prospecting, referrals, and partner collaboration. Partner with Sales Engineers on solution discussions, demonstrations, and business cases. Maintain territory plans, CRM records, pipeline activity, and accurate sales forecasts. Coordinate with Customer Success, marketing, and channel partners to advance opportunities. Qualifications B2B software sales experience involving SaaS, cybersecurity, or identity management solutions. Experience with identity and access management (IAM), credential security, or phishing protection is especially relevant. Demonstrated success acquiring new customers and delivering against revenue targets. Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders, technical evaluations, and commercial negotiations. Strong discovery, presentation, and consultative selling skills. Mid-market closing experience or a strong SMB/commercial sales background involving complex deals. Channel collaboration and familiarity with MEDDIC or similar qualification methods preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Location and Compensation Mid-Market: Two openings in Pacific/Mountain and one in Eastern/Central time zones. Base salary up to $75,000; on-target earnings of $200,000. Enterprise consideration: Eastern/Central candidates only. Base salary up to $125,000; on-target earnings of $250,000. Uncapped commissions at both levels. Gables Search Group
