Project Scope:

Seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator/Developer to design, develop, administer, and support modern SharePoint Online solutions within a Microsoft 365 environment. The consultant will be responsible for architecting scalable SharePoint sites, implementing governance standards, developing custom solutions using SPFx, React, and TypeScript, and leveraging Power Platform technologies to automate business processes.

The role will focus on improving collaboration, document management, workflow automation, system integrations, security, and user adoption across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating business requirements into sustainable SharePoint solutions while ensuring compliance, maintainability, and long-term platform support.

Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Administration & Architecture

• Design and manage SharePoint Online environments, including sites, hubs, libraries, and content structures.
  
• Develop hub-and-spoke intranet architectures and site provisioning strategies.
  
• Configure and manage metadata, content types, document libraries, and document management solutions.
  
• Establish governance standards, permissions, site ownership models, and lifecycle management processes.
  

SharePoint Development

• Develop and maintain custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions.
  
• Build reusable web parts and components using React and TypeScript.
  
• Package, deploy, and version SharePoint applications and customizations.
  
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  

Power Platform Solutions

• Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate.
  
• Develop business applications using Power Apps.
  
• Analyze business processes and recommend automation opportunities.
  
• Replace manual processes with efficient digital solutions.
  

Integration & API Development

• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and external systems.
  
• Develop integrations using REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
  
• Support enterprise data flow and cross-platform collaboration solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing integrations.
  

Business Process Improvement

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
  
• Translate business needs into automated workflows and digital solutions.
  
• Improve operational efficiency and user productivity through technology enhancements.
  
• Support cross-functional business initiatives.
  

Security & Compliance

• Implement SharePoint security best practices and permission models.
  
• Ensure compliance with Microsoft 365 security and governance standards.
  
• Manage data access controls and information protection requirements.
  
• Review and mitigate security risks related to SharePoint environments.
  

User Experience & Adoption

• Design intuitive and user-friendly SharePoint sites and interfaces.
  
• Improve navigation, usability, and user engagement.
  
• Support adoption initiatives through training and documentation.
  
• Provide guidance and support to business users and stakeholders.
  

Documentation & Support

• Create technical documentation, solution designs, and support procedures.
  
• Maintain solution ownership and support models.
  
• Participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution activities.
  
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement recommendations.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

·5+ years of SharePoint Online Architecture and Administration experience

·5+ years of experience with SharePoint Governance and Compliance

·5+ years of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development

·5+ years of React and/or TypeScript development experience

·5+ years of Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power Apps)

·5+ years of experience with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph integrations

·5+ years of experience translating business requirements into workflow solutions

·5+ years of experience implementing SharePoint security and compliance controls

·5+ years of SharePoint UX/UI design and user adoption experience

Preferred Skills:

· Experience integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services

· Experience designing enterprise intranet and collaboration platforms

· Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and cloud technologies

· Experience supporting large-scale SharePoint Online environments

· Knowledge of governance frameworks and information management best practices
